Canoeing and kayaking can be organized with Eaurizon, in the village. A little further away there are several outstanding sites : the walled mediaeval city of Carcassonne, the &#8220;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/chateaux-de-lastours.fr\/\">Ch\u00e2teaux de Lastours<\/a><\/strong>&#8220;, the unspoilt coastal range of \u00a0La Clape, \u00a0Fontfroide and Lagrasse abbeys, the wild hills and wine-country of the Corbieres, and the old Cathar stronghold of Minerve.<br \/>\nFor swimming, there are small rivers in secret spots, the Mediterranean at Gruissan and the Cabanes de Fleury, and the lagoons south of Narbonne beyond Bages&#8230;<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are walks along the 17th century Canal du midi where you can visit the Aiguille Lock and on the banks of the River Aude.
